Part 6: Pre-Reveal and Reveal
Set your pre-reveal image
If you plan to have a delayed reveal for NFTs minted during your drop, you can add a pre-reveal image. This image will show on the item page for each NFT in your collection until you upload and publish your final asset metadata on-chain.
The pre-reveal image will upload to de the decentralized server (IPFS) and save to your contract.
Upload media and metadata
In this section, you can upload media files to Element and an optional metadata file. One media image can correspond to multiple tokens. The metadata file specifies which file maps to which token ID and contains the traits for each NFT. Traits, such as facial expressions or accessories, differentiate your NFT and can be used to determine an NFT’s rarity.
Click"Save and Check to Draft" upload media files to Element and an optional metadata file.
Once your files are uploaded, you can click Preview to see how your NFTs will look to collectors after the reveal. If you spot any errors in your item names or descriptions, you can make the updates directly from this page at any time before the reveal.
You can click Download examples to download a zip file that contains a metadata .csv file with 10 items and the companion media files.
Reveal Your NFTs
Element will provide free uploads to a decentralized server for you. However, due to the costs associated with decentralized servers, your images will be compressed. The number of upload metadata must match the total supply in the Drop settings.
